About Nalco Group And Its Founder

I love working with my wife.

The name "Nalco Group" means "Nigel and Louise Group of Companies", and that's how it all started (though my wife Louise isn't part of Nalco Group, I just like to have her name in there too lol)

We started as a simple husband and wife team, myself (Nigel) and my wife, Louise, and as we learnt through business, entrepreneurial, corporate and financial growths and mistakes, I formed Nalco Group to take my vision further and higher to serve our customers and partners.

We embarked on an entrepreneurship journey since 2005, building up our first company from $65...to a seven figure business that was eventually acquired by a larger company. Of course, not everything was smooth sailing nor a bed of roses - we had lots of problems, made lots of errors.

In fact, our first three setups had to be shutdown due to different reasons.

But we persevered and kept refining ourselves, our business approach, and kept growing ourselves and the business; we put in all our revenues and profits into the business again and again until we were acquired, following which we provided a 3-year bond to the purchasers and delivered continued value.

Today Nalco Group is the cumulation of all the best practice solutions and ideas to life and business, and we hope that we continue to deliver high value to our clients.

About my wife Louise

My name is Louise, and personally, I am happily married to Nigel and have a baby at this point in writing (we hope to have more in time to come). I enjoy hiking and long walks, I enjoy going NTUC (it's a supermart - yes, I'm a weirdo, but my husband loves going there too). I enjoy eating ice cream, yogurt, chips (yes, all the unhealthy stuff =p), I can't live without my news (yes, I'm a news junkie), and I'm a Christian.

Professionally, I graduated with Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Physiotherapy from Queen Margaret's University in Edinburgh, Scotland, in 2006; and I have been practicing my physiotherapy skills since then, specializing in spine and general physiotherapy. I also love learning more skills and techniques to help my patients, adding skills such as visceral manipulation and craniosacral therapy.

I've worked in a variety of spinal and musculoskeletal setting such as Changi General Hospital, Singapore’s Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) and Tan Tock Seng Hospital. Following the time spent in outpatients physiotherapy and rehabilitation of the spine and musculoskeletal injuries, I started to develop an interest in back and neck injuries and rehabilitation.

I really enjoy my work tremendously as a physiotherapist and have much satisfaction from seeing my patients improve and recover and is a strong advocate of independence and rehabilitation. Being an active and outdoor individual, I believe in being healthy and having a balanced lifestyle to achieve the best quality of life.

Our wedding day - it was lovely =)

I'm glad I believed in him, and him, in me.

The wedding was amazing, and we're so grateful to God, our family, friends and colleagues for their support...

...and we're still (happily) married today.

Some of the values that we want to continue to embody includes:

fairness, openness, sincerity, integrity, trust, mutual respect, value-based/adding and with the view of long term relationship.

We don't want a short-termed transactional relationship with you or any of our clients - we'd rather have you as our clients (and friends) for life.

And that's what we want you to know:

We're here for life.

So if you like us, and can see what we do and who we are, do come partner with us or support us, and let's take it from there.

Talk soon!
